One of the great things about in pulse,the "smartwatch" is its ability to run apps. You might be thinking, what sorts of apps should it run? The most common apps would be to read Twitter feeds,maybe news headlines or facebook updates. Well the lead designed of inpulse, Eric Migicovsky has just developped an app that allows him to check-in to Facebook places by feeding off the GPS data from his Android phone.The app isn't available for download yet, but it shows the versatility of what you can do with the inpulse watch.
Just a refresher, the inpulse watch is an interesting piece of device because it uses Bluetooth to connect & sync with your android smartphone or Blackberry.Again, this doesn't install a full running application on the watch itself. it only serves as a medium which is pretty cool because it means there's a possibility to turn this watch into 3G-tethering device on the go!
